Your Job Purpose: Working with the LotusWorks team as an NPI Engineer, you will have the primary responsibilities for an NPI project. You will work with the transfer team to transfer the product from design to manufacturing following a predefined transfer process. Your Responsibilities: Work with design Engineering on completing the Feature Criticality Assessment document. Create a Feature Inspection Plan based on the Feature Criticality Assessment. This includes sourcing gages, designing the sampling plan and completing gage R&R’s as necessary. Working with the metrology department on releasing and testing new CMM programs. Working with the team on configuring and testing all process controls and inspection plans within. Clarifying the cosmetic inspection criteria and designing cosmetic certification process for product builders. Completing a gage R&R for cosmetic inspection. Working with Manufacturing Engineering to create/update all procedures. Working with Manufacturing to create/update On The job Training templates for each operation. Working with manufacturing to train and certify product builders. Supporting validations for Final Clean and Packaging processes. Support the qualification of new equipment (Autobagger, Tumble finisher. Support the approval of updates for new materials. Support the design transfer process, including MTPR review, pilot builds and associated documentation. Create/Update the PFMEA for the entire process. Requirements: 5 years plus experience working in a regulated environment. Degree in Quality, Engineering or relevant. Experience working in a regulated environment. NPI experience.
