Production Manager. Reports to. Operations Director. Principal Duties and Responsibilities. Lead and Direct Operations Team. Chair weekly Operations Meeting to set Objectives for week ahead. Scheduling and Loading Production Areas to create an effective Production System ( Liaising with Purchasing for material requirements ) Management of production problem investigations and implementation of corrective action. Manage Direct Labour Budget as per business target. Ensure that the Production and Quality Targets are understood and achieved for the Site. Reviewing Operator Efficiency Ratings across Factory. With Operations Team Identify Training needs for areas across the plant. Drive Health and Safety adherence. Ensure Housekeeping standards are maintained. Drive Continuous Improvement Plans and Projects. Ensure Adherence to Shipping, On Time Delivery and Delivery Documentation. Travel to customer sites for Business Review meetings and Lead site visits with customers when required. Attend training and development as required. Meet Company Objectives. Perform any other reasonable duties as requested by your Director. Attributes, Qualifications & Experience Required for Position. Degree in Engineering / Production / Manufacturing or related discipline. At least 5 years relevant management experience in a production environment. Understanding of Sheet Metal Processes desirable. Strong decision making and results driven approach. Ability to take Personal responsibility for company objectives. Information see www.bolgers.com.
