We have an immediate opportunity for an experienced Machine Operator to join our client weekend shift team. In addition to General Operator duties, the Operator is responsible for monitoring and managing Minor Process Monitor Alarms and operating within set quality standards. The Ideal candidate is an eager learner, has excellent communication skills and a drive for continuous improvement. Primary Tasks: o Operation of Machines in line with production schedule and quality targets. o Complete product Visual Inspection as per agreed process and log results on SAP. o Keep an accurate log of work carried out and adjustment made in Log Book. o Complete all process documentation. o Ensure that shift handover sheet is accurate and complete and reflects all relevant information. o Ensure housekeeping standards and safe work environment is maintained at all times. o Remove completed logs and move to designated location. o Ongoing review and check for machine performance issues, e.g. camera calibration, Water leaks, damaged hosing, alarms etc. o Provide cover for Operators during breaks, training, meetings, holidays etc. o Complete basic machine maintenance/troubleshooting. Key Performance Indicators. € Meet set production targets. € Meet set quality standards. € Tidy and safe work environment. € Keeping a tidy and adequate log book. € Positive attitude towards team work, learning. € Flexible attitude and high standard of punctuality and attendance.
