Currently, we are recruiting an experienced and qualified Internal Auditor to join a US multinational organisation in Shannon on a permanent full-time basis . Areas of responsibility will include: Ensure internal SOX documentation is kept up to date. Design and test the internal SOX controls is completed in accordance with the established schedule. Perform root cause analysis, document audit observations and design effective solutions. Work with the accounting team to ensure that audit findings are resolved in a timely manner. Coordinate and liaise with external auditors. Prepare audit reports for management. Continue to stay apprised of all new SOX compliance guidelines. The successful candidate will have the following attributes: Professional qualification as a qualified accountant and/or certified internal auditor (CIA. Hold a Bachelor's Degree in a business related area. Have either trained or worked in a Big 4 accounting practice. Have experience of being involved with US multinational environments. Have knowledge of SOX requirements and US GAAP. Availability to travel on occasion overseas as part of the role.
