PROCESS ENGINEER (PCBA / SMT Manufacturing) required by CareerWise Recruitment for our client based in the Mid West. This role requires an individual with strong technical engineering experience in electronics, this person should be fully conversant with all aspects of PCBA manufacturing, including PCBA assembly and test processes. Extensive experience working on electronic products through the whole product life cycle, from design through prototyping to mass production. THE ROLE: * Responsible for all aspects of PCBA & Box Builds for assigned products in a NPI environment within a cross-functional team. * Prepare and determine manufacturing costs for inclusion in costs sheets. * Working with the design and external manufacturing partners to ensure that PCBA designs can be manufactured and tested at a competitive cost. * Representatives to limit production delays associated with equipment failures and minimize downtime through maintenance support and response time. REQUIREMENTS: Ÿ* Bachelor's Degree in Engineering related discipline. * In-depth knowledge of SMT and through-hole manufacturing. * 5 or more years' experience in a PCBA manufacturing, ideally includes some experience in EMS (Electronics Manufacturing Services.
