An Accounts Payable Administrator is required by CareerWise Recruitment for our Shannon based manufacturing client. THE ROLE: * AP clerk; main duties would be: invoice matching and entry, resolving pricing or other queries with purchasing/stores. * Reconciliation of our aged payables to vendor statements, & dealing with any discrepancies; * Generation of payment files to vendors; * Other administration/AP tasks. * The recruit will later be trained up in payroll processing too, to cover holiday leave, sick leave, etc for our existing employee. REQUIREMENTS: * Doesn't require prior experience, nor specific qualifications, but obviously a candidate that can demonstrate that this is an area that they wish to work in. long-term would be more attractive to our client. * Someone that has studied some relevant post leaving-cert course(s), and/or has worked in similar job previously, would tick extra boxes. * Pursuing the Accounting Technician exams would be an advantage.
