Position Summary : We are looking for an experienced Product Manager to implement new products and features, from the idea stage to launch. To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience in end-to-end project management and product sourcing. Your main responsibilities include gathering product requirements, prioritizing feature implementations and improving overall user experience. Responsibilities. Ownership of product lifecycle from cradle to grave including: Product insights and concept generation. Business case development to support high-quality product concept recommendations. Roadmap development. Drive new concepts through the development process ensuring design intent and VoC are met. Ownership of the entire product development process by ensuring the cross-functional teams have all of the information and direction to meet schedule deadlines and project goals. Collaborating with Sales and Marketing to develop, on-time, go-to-market launch plans, packaging, Sales collateral & training. Post-launch product management including quality improvements, cost reductions, line extensions. Regular communications to the broader teams on post-launch product updates. End of life (EOL) management. Product sourcing, testing and placement. Product segment expertise and knowledge o The PM must have expertise in the 4Ps (product, price, placement, promotion) for their product line as well as the competitors product line. Requirements. Third level degree in business Marketing or similar field is preferred. 5+ years experience as a Product Manager in consumer or electronic products, preferably in the retail sector is an advantage. Experience in consumer electronics highly preferred. Passionate about technology and consumer electronics. Must be a self-starter and be comfortable working autonomously. Experience managing the entire product lifecycle. Certification in Project Management is desirable ie, PMP. Familiarity with market research, consumers behaviour and marketing techniques. Good communication skills along with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross functional teams. Must be adaptive and flexible to changing priorities, demands, and timelines. Must be logical and methodical. Strong interpersonal and meeting facilitation skills required to lead and manage all team members, internal and external clients, vendors, and meetings. Excellent computer skills, in particular Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. Ability to travel overseas, specifically Asia when required. This job originally appeared on RecruitIreland.com.
