Lending Operations Analyst. About this Role: The Lending Operations Agent is responsible for case management of mortgage applications from application submission through to completion. The agent will work with brokers and credit underwriters to ensure all new applications have the required documentation as per agreed policy and criteria, whilst ensuring accurate and timely updates are provided to stakeholders on progress throughout the process. Key Responsibilities. Customer Service. o Administration of case management across the lending origination process from application submission to drawdown. o Providing accurate and timely updates to stakeholders on progress throughout the process. o Building strong relationships with intermediaries to help ensure well packaged applications. Lending Administration. o Undertake customer and document integrity checks. o Work with brokers, Direct Sales agents and credit underwriters to ensure all new applications have the required documentation as per agreed policy and criteria. o Ensure that correct and accurate content and information is provided to customers and third parties in accordance with internal procedures and policies. System Management and Maintenance. o Support authorised intermediaries submit lending applications through a designated application Portal. o Accurate and timely data entry and indexing. Skills & Experience. APA in Housing Loans (essential. Degree in Business/Finance or equivalent (desirable. Previous lending administration experience. A demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced and high energy environment. Excellent communication and organisational skills. Understanding of regulation and associated legislative policy and the impacts these have on the business. Deep appreciation of compliance procedures and standards. Confidence in dealing with clients, colleagues and other stakeholders at different levels. Knowledge of lending products and responsible lending principles. Knowledge of credit application, assessment and loan settlement processes. Demonstrated ability to perform routine and sometimes complex tasks without direct supervision.
