Gala Supermarket based in Cooraclare, Co. Clare is seeking to hire an Experienced Sales Assistant. We are seeking to hire for a full time & part time (weekend) roles. You will become part of a dynamic team working in a wonderful environment in a store renowned for its excellent style and customer service. Responsibilities include:- Smooth & effective running of the shop at all times. Dealing with telephone queries and counter customers in a prompt & professional manner. Ensure product is displayed attractively and in order. Proactively generating sales for the business. Promoting products and informing customers of special offers etc. Ensuring that the shop & shop front is always clean. Stock levels, ensuring adequate stock is maintained and stock take is recorded. Dealing with stock, inputting onto stock control system. The ideal candidate will have:- Ability to build rapport & build relationships. First class interpersonal skills. Effective communicator. Cash handling experience. Must be flexible and available for work when required. Ideally have merchandising experience. A proven track record in meeting and exceeding sales targets. Excellent presentation skills and professional image. Motivated, energetic and ambitious. Highly organised and disciplined.
